Last week-end, I was at GUADEC in Stuttgart, Germany, to present a talk about GnomeMeeting and VoIP. The talk was a general introduction to VoIP and IP Telephony, it covered H.323 and SIP and their relationship to GnomeMeeting. The slides are available here.
The SIP version of GnomeMeeting is progressing. We are building daily CVS snapshots of that version, and they are available on http://snapshots.seconix.com. All features required to make GnomeMeeting work with Asterisk have been implemented and tested, including call transfer, call hold, registering to several providers, DTMFs. Asterisk users can start testing GnomeMeeting and report bugs or suggest features.
